Lawson Elliott Recruitment was established in November 2009 by our Managing Director, Craig Du Rieu. Commencing as a boutique specialist within the accounting and finance field, Craig operated out of a home office in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and interviewed candidates from a windowless serviced office in the CBD that was hired by the hour.

Within several months, having successfully partnered with some of Australia’s largest multinational companies, we hired our first employee, invested in an industry leading recruitment database and signed a long term lease for an office in Australia Square.

Today, Lawson Elliott operates four offices across the eastern sea board (Sydney, Melbourne, Parramatta and Brisbane) with the future goal of opening up offices in Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Newcastle and New Zealand. We are the largest accounting specialist recruitment firm in NSW, have been experiencing 80% growth in Victoria and are one of the largest players in the accounting and finance recruitment sector in Australia.
